I’ve known Kim D. a long time. We go way back…like way way back. We met when we both worked at Casa Gallardo, probably circa 2003. I seriously miss that place. I’m pretty sure the only reason I can make a decent guacamole is because of those damn tablesides (amiright, casa fam?) Plus a ton of my lifelong friends were made there. And those margaritas? Keep. Them. Coming.
I digress.
A couple of years ago, Kim and I reconnected and she and Kim bravely trusted me to do their photos when I was starting my business. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to shoot a lot of important events including a pregnancy, newborn and now Miss Karleigh’s first birthday!
First, let me tell you…there is not a happier one year old I’ve met recently than my girl Karleigh. And Keegan – he is quite the ball of energy. He’s so much fun to try to engage when we are doing our shoot. You really never know what you are going to get from him, I LOVE that kind of unpredictability in a personality (I wonder why…hello pot, meet kettle.) Not to mention it makes for some pretty cute pictures too.
